Our Creative Projects

  • Our partnership with TED-Ed gives young people access to inspiring learning, creative storytelling and guided activities that encourage them to explore big ideas and build confidence in expressing themselves.

    What Young People Gain

    • Confidence to express their thoughts and ideas

    • Stronger communication and presentation skills

    • Emotional awareness and resilience

    • A connection to global stories, topics and perspectives

    • Positive enrichment that supports wellbeing and independence

    Why It Matters

TED-Ed helps young people see themselves not just as people who need support, but as thinkers, storytellers and individuals with a future worth investing in.

  • Through Podsmiths, young people can design their own merchandise and set up an online shop where they earn profit from every item sold. They can create products such as hoodies, sweaters, caps and bottles, turning their ideas into real merchandise that others can buy.

    What young people gain

    • A safe and creative space to explore identity through design

    • Digital design skills and experience using creative tools

    • Their own online shop to promote and sell their products

    • Practical business skills including marketing, social media, pricing, and understanding profit and loss

    • Confidence and motivation from seeing their designs purchased

    • Problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills

    Why it matters

This project helps young people develop creativity, independence and entrepreneurial thinking. It gives them real-world experience of running a small business, builds financial awareness, and supports future pathways in design, marketing, enterprise and digital skills.

  • Our podcast project teaches young people how to plan, record and produce podcast-style content in a supported and private environment.
It’s an opportunity to speak, reflect and collaborate — without pressure or public exposure.

    What Young People Gain

    • Improved confidence and speaking skills

    • The ability to hold meaningful conversations

    • Tools to reflect on their journey in a healthy, guided way

    • Digital media skills such as recording and basic editing

    • Teamwork, storytelling and organisation skills

    Why It Matters

Every young person has a story worth hearing.
The podcast project helps them find their voice, express themselves safely and build skills that support future education, work and personal growth.
